Happy Birthday Jesus Party
Monday, December 14th in Asbury Hall

Join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus with games, crafts, a Christmas story and cake. Activities are geared towards children age 2 and up. Mom2Mom will meet first at 9:15am. At 10:15 am everyone will go the nursery to check out their children who will be participating. Children under age 2 can remain in the nursery.

Mom's Christmas Party

You are invited to the Mom2Mom Annual Mom’s Christmas Party on Monday, December 7th in the Jones Library!

Please join us in the Jones Library for fellowship, a yummy breakfast and ornament exchange (optional), during our regularly scheduled Mom2Mom meeting beginning at 9:15am on December 7th. If you would like to participate in our ornament exchange, please bring a wrapped ornament valued at $10 or less.

You have a choice this Monday as to which speaker you would like to attend depending on the age of your children or interests:

Got Game
is a free seminar for parents wanting to learn more about the world of video games. Guest speaker Adam Spore is a youth minister who travels around the country giving seminars on video games and gaming units. He will introduce you to the video game rating system, how to screen games for their content, and teach you the pros and cons of video game consoles available on the market. The event is Nov. 9th at 9:30 am in Asbury Hall (main building). No registration is required!

There will be games, crafts, treats and a costume parade! Children (and moms, too) are invited to wear their Halloween costumes and march in our costume parade at 10:30am . Family friendly (not scary) costumes only, please.

We will have stickers, markers and other supplies to decorate treat bags (provided). You are more than welcome to bring a mini pumpkin for your children to decorate, too.

September 28th - Coffee Klatch/Cabinet Positions Open!

Need to clip coupons or just chat about your favorite TV show? Come to Coffee Klatch on Monday September 28th for 3 hours of child free time. We are looking forward to seeing you.

Additionally we have 3 Cabinet positions open....see the note below...

We have a few cabinet positions available if you are interested. Cabinet meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month from 9:15-noon. Childcare is provided.
Here are the available positions and their job descriptions:

Hospitality: need 2 people
* coordinates refreshments and snacks for monthly meetings & Coffee Klatch (have a sign up sheet at meetings); sets out coffee and ice water
* recognizes church nursery staff (x3/yr - May, August & December) with thank you gifts (ideas: pizza lunch, chocolate, money tree, potluck lunch provided by member volunteers).
* Attends monthly cabinet meetings

Secretary: need 1 person
* Attends monthly cabinet meetings
* Takes notes/minutes from the monthly cabinet meetings
* Email the minutes to the cabinet members within a couple days
* Update Mom2Mom newsletter (starts in January)
